    Wish I had a friend like you. I took a "beginner's class" at LQS and only learned what I was doing wrong as I did it...no real instructions as to basics !

    Me too. I just had books and the one quilt class I took just wasn't the right one....would have loved to even have a quilting buddy back then to bounce ideas off. Have fun!!!!!
