This is where they are on in my area as well; I never see them on the regular PBS station but everyday (except most weekends) they are on Create at 6am, 12 noon, 6 pm and 12 midnight.

I just have the "box" and old antenna, haven't found any quilting shows, only the sewing with Nancy and Sue's show on Saturday.
So let's start an old fashioned LETTER WRITING CAMPAIGN. Not emails, but snail mail to our local PBS stations? How about the first week in October? I think 44 cents would be worth it!

Unless we have only the converted box we miss all the quilt shows in AZ. On dish they don't offer any quilt shows unless Sewing with Nancy on PBS Saturday mornings has a quilting program. I guess the shows have gone to Fon's and Porter's shows yhat you have to pay for to see online. Sad isn't it that we must rely on youtube or Missouri Quilt Company for tutorials on new quilting techiques.

I understand they are cutting PBS funding, but PBS should go out of their way to make the public happy. The whole morning/afternon shouldn't be just childrens programming. They need to do more than just sit around a television, which the presidents wife is trying to tell people.

There are TONS of quilting guilds in the Pittsburgh and surrounding area. Trust me, they have clout. A lot of ladies quit contributing to them because we went down from 2 sewing shows a week, and 4 quilting shows a week to ZERO!! This is weekly, not daily. So we weren't asking too much if you ask me.

If you go to fonsandporter.com and go to the TV Series section at the top they have all the older videos of their series on there. You can sit and watch them free. The newer ones no, but some of the older wones before Liz left are really good.

I think it must be all over. the west coast doesn't get any either. I have to go to the BYU channel(9403) on dish. Fons and Porter daily. RFD has Eleanor Burns on Wednesday. Other than that I can't find anything except online............

In the Houston area we get Quilting Arts right now. You can go online and often they will have a few of their shows to watch. I think the internet subscription seem to be the wave of the future.

I have heard rumors of the post office cutting 22thousand?, I get the impression that the daily deliveries would stop.

I cannot answer your question about the New York area, but here in New Orleans on Saturday, we get quilting and sewing shows from 10:00 a.m. till 1:00 p.m. I really look forward to them every week. Hope you get your shows back soon.
