    Default Peacock Quilt - Need more advice on FMQ

    Started doing the pillow shams first using variegated King Tut 927 thread. I used like 5 entire bobbins! I guess I got OCD. is it possible to over-quilt using FMG besides using a lot of thread? here is a picture of the sham and the back. Is it too much?

    It not over quilted if you like it. I would suggest you try to get more of a balance in the quilting...
    it looks like you are having alot of fun with this quilt. I really like varigated threads and your choice seems to be perfect.
