I was glad to hear about the smell of the Olfa mat, my mat smells terrible, stinks up the whole room. I sure hope it goes away. My old one, I don't remember it smelling??

If you change your rotary blades more frequently you should not have as many problems with grooves. Normally, as the blade begins to dull, we push down a bit harder. Often times it is something we don't even realize we are doing and changing the blade more often will keep us from doing this.

memephyl , I was contacted through this site so I feel it's legit. I wasn't asked anything but my address and that's accessible to anyone these days.
