In this case, I am wanting marks to stay on the project.

In an attempt to order the Nano-Liner by Royal & Langnickel (now Royal Brush), I have been finding mixed reviews about this pen.

It does not seem to be available at Hobby Lobby any more, either.

What I am looking for: A pen to add detailing to some blocks that need to be "darkened" - I want this coloring to be permanent . I don't want "darkened" as in tea-dying the whole piece - I just have too much bright yellow that I want to make look more like the other blocks.

I was doing a throw-away thing that ended up being a keeper. I learned a lot about how pieces will act when one is going to kaleidoscope them. If I had been smarter - and known about the one-block wonder technique at the time - I would have done things differently. Ah - the "not-so-wonderful" learning curve.

I am not a fan of the micron pens -

Do any of you have experience with a permanent black marker that you are happy with? I do want it to be permanent, and I want it to be "easy" to write/mark with, and I do not want it to smear when it gets wet.

I plan to use it with Inktense pencils for this project.

She didn't use Pentel Fabric Gel Pen which is the best I have ever used. Just like using a regular pen, the ink doesn't run or smear. Very bold. I have washed a sample in hot bleach water many times and it's still looks like new. . Walmart has them online. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Pentel-Ge...abric/24592199
