If you don't want to buy another ruler, you could try this excellent "no waste of fabric" method!

I was at a Quilting Show at the Birch Run Expo Center and saw a Perfect Flying Geese ruler, it had cutting slots and two triangles on it to square it up. Unfortunately we didn't buy it when we saw it, thinking we would find it at the Novi, MI ASE show the next day....nope, not one vendor had it there. Now we cannot find it anywhere. Do any of you know the one I'm talking about and if so where I can order one?

    Thanks again for the add!

Before you buy anything else, please go to Deb Tucker's website, and check out her rulers (along with free instructional videos...you can Google by her name, or her internet store, which is Studio 180 Designs....I am a sucker for rulers, and hers truly are the only ones I ever use now.........everything just comes out perfect when you use them..............Good luck!!

My first thought from your description was the Eleanor Burns new flying geese ruler. I have one and I got at Road to California last year. After watching her demo I knew I needed it! EB does her research/testing and I have never had a problem with any of her rulers.

The way you describe that it has slots in it I would guess it is a Bloc-loc Ruler. Google that and I think you will find what you are looking for.

    I love my Bloc-Loc rulers!
