A "perfect" sewing experience -
The pattern instructions were easy to understand and all the dimensions given were correct -
The fabrics behaved perfectly - no bleeding, shrinking, or excessive raveling -
All the fabrics wanted/needed were available in adequate amounts -
There were no cutting errors - on either the fabric or on fingers -
The sewing machine operated perfectly -
The thread never ran out in the middle of a seam -
The iron never sputtered, spit, or was too hot -
No one needed/wanted to be fed while one was on a roll -
The cats stayed on the floor -
So - what contributes to your "perfect" sewing experiences?
