If I gathered and lined up all of my glasses in my sewing room, I would have just as many as you do seam rippers. You may have the same problem with your rippers as I have with my glasses. I can never find them when I need them.

I must be an optimist. I don't even know where a seam ripper is! I know I have a couple but I never use them. I use my thread snippers if I have to take out a seam. I don't unsew the way most people do either. I just cut every 4th to 6th stitch on one side only and then pull the whole thread on the other side. I never rip down thru the middle of the fabrics.

Not pessimistic, not optimistic. Just prepared!

And doesn't it seem like the minute you throw something away, you end up needing it the very next week? Waste not, want not, that's my motto. Now to figure out what to do with all those darn scraps.......
