A few years ago I made a denim bag for my Shitsu with a pocket on the outside for his leash and a water bottle then inside he has 3 days of food, thyroid medication, and treats all in zip lock bags we also used to have his afghan toys and some chewies now he has a full size woolen blanket in the vehicle along with his dishes for travel Whenever we go anywhere we just grab his bag and he's ready to go! He also has a bed in the vehicle at all times.
