Default pfaff coverlock 4852?? do you have one?? I am thinking of buying 1

I found one new in the box for $600 and was wondering if it is worth that much to own it.
    Thank you for your input!

I have one and love it. It doesn't take me long to thread it and serge. I found I haven't used the coverlock yet as I can do a double needle on my sewing machine just as well.

Check prices on the newer models because I don't know what they are anymore.

Check the manual to verify it can stitch a seam AND finish off the edges at the same time. If so, it is well worth the money...I had this model and gave it to my DIL which is why I am not sure of the model number. I loved it! I gave it to her because I do not make clothes anymore. I prefer to concentrate on quilting, smile.
