Unless you have an old computer or laptop that will support these. Also think windows XP/Vista will not take the software. If so you'll be limited to using the cards.
I contacted Pfaff and they do not have an updated program compatable to the current computers. It came with a 3" floppy and most computers don't have that option anymore. That is why you may concider the magic box to download new designs.

LOVE LOVE LOVE my 7570's!! no way would ever let them go now that I finally have my dream machines. For me the embroidery does just fine for what I want done, I do not do that much embroidery, but I found some I really like and have done them, oh does this machine ever stitch nicely!
I have a yahoo group just for this machines so we can all share hints tips and what we are doing with our lovely 7570s, (Pfaff 7570 quilting and embroidery) I know now they have machines that have a much bigger hoop and do larger designs, but how often would I do them? is it really worth the cost, or does my machine do just what I want to do? For my quilting this machine is a real workhorse! I don't think you can go wrong with this machine, but remember that is just MHO

have you tried looking on ebay? also might want to join sewitsforsale yahoo group and post that you're looking for parts...i've seen them pop up a few times. i'd love to sell you mine, but then my setup would be incomplete. not that i'd be selling my 7570 i'll keep it as long as it keeps running. i just had it serviced and it's running like the first day i bought it in 1999. sad to say it was the first service since i bought it...tsk tsk on me.

I got mine from e-bay. I don't remember who sold it but it is made by Amazing designs. It also came with a blank card and CD program for computer. An earlier post I called it a magic box but meant Amazing box.

Vikant makes a Ultimate box which can do Pfaff designs. I can't remember the name of it (altho I have it) but it has dual slots, one for a pfaff card and the other for PES.

I recently bought a used 7510, works great, but I only got a photocopied 7530 manual with it, so I'm not " getting it". I have other machines, but this was from the series I wanted in the 1990's, so it's like going back to live the dream.

I have a "Magic Box Elite" and it has two slots for cards one is for pFAFF PCS and the other IS for other machines. I have used it and it works great, so far no problem.
