If you have a Pfaff dealer in the area I would talk to them about those Models. Go online and check them out. Do some homework before buying second hand. Ask to test drive them before buying.

I have a Pfaff Performance 2056 that I use all the time. I also have the Pfaff Grand Quilter, that only sews straight stitch and I use it for machine quilting.

When I was looking at embroidery machines, I looked at Pfaff and various other models, most of them were combination machines, sewing/embroidery. I already had a sewing machine, so I decided on the Janome 200E machine, it's embroidery only, it has a 5.5X5.5 hoop and it does what I need it to do and it fit the budget which now a days is a big consideration.

I've done some online checking and they both look pretty good. The dealer is closed today, so will check tomorrow. I was just looking for any personal recommendations here. I appreciate the input.

If you buy a machine used, in the box, would it still have a warranty?

That's my main concern about buying used - for what it's worth.

I have the 7570 - I purchased the machine many years ago mainly for sewing & it sews great - no problems. I took lessons for the embrodery part - did a lot of embrodery. I think the newer models have a much bigger area to embrodery and you can change and "edit" your pattern. Also haven't checked in a long time to see if the Creative Cards are still available for the 7570.

I also have the Pfaff Grand Quilter - use it for quilting my quilts - only had it for a few months - but am very pleaseed with it.

I have a Pfaff 7550 and wished I had purchased the 7570 back in Germany. They are wonderful machines and I love the IDT features! Good luck!

if pfaff has a blog or website, find it and lurk. or sign in and ask questions. best way to find out what people are complaining about or raving about.

have fun with your purchase :D
