We are a 3-Pfaff house. 2038, 1475CD, and 1200 (Grand Quilter). The 2038 and 1200 were purchased new, and the 1475 was purchased from a LQS. The previous owner had bought it at the shop, used it for SEVERAL years, then traded it in. It still purrs like a kitten and sews great; I don't think I'll ever wear it out. I don't think you can go wrong with a Pfaff.

I've had a Pfaff 2170 for a couple years and have really enjoyed it. The embroidery possibilities are great. If you have a good deal and available advice, go for it. Pfaff is known as a workhorse. I know I've done more to mine than I'd like to admit, but it keeps on working well. I don't know what I would do without it.

This is the best place to get service for your Pfaff. They may not be near you, but I feel sure if you contact Ray's they will try to help you if possible. The mail is always handled quickly.

I have a Pfaff 2054 sewing machine and love it, the walking foot is a great benefit, don't think I could do without it now! Kind of wish I had saved up more $ and bought a combo (sew/embroidey), but I have an older Babylock embroidery machine. - Pfaff is a excellet machine! :-)

I'm so glad to hear that so many of you love your Pfaffs. I'm on my second one, a 2027 that I've had 5 or 6 years. Had a very plain-Jane hobby model Pfaff before that. I, too, love the built-in walking foot. Someone mentioned a low bobbin indicator. What model would I have to upgrade to to get that feature?

Have you ever had problems with your Grand Quilter coming unthreaded or breaking thread in the middle of a quilting run? I have the same machine & this is an ongoing problem for me, ever since I got it 4 years ago.
