    Yes they are washable...over time the photo fabric will fade.

    These are awesome! I'm getting great ideas for gifts today. Wouldn't this be great with grandkids' photos on them? I'm going to make one for my sister.

    Those are really a great idea! So many possibilities. Like the mug rug idea too. I have a set of photo coasters (has an inset for a photo) we use but this way it would absorb condensation. But these are great for the guy chefs in my life!
