Ok, since I've finished my 1st quilt on 9-18-09, I've now decided to make a tumbling block quilt for my 2nd quilt. Here are the pictures of the fabrics that I'm using. I'll likely need more, but I'll sew up these then cut out more. I'm not sure yet how large I want my quilt to be. It'll be hand pieced and hand quilted, just like my first one was.

The first picture is of all the diamonds and the others are just a close up.

Here are some of the diamonds set in the tumbling blocks pattern. This is just one layout option.

That is going to be wonderful!! I have always been fascinated by the tumbling block quilts! I just received a pattern and the paper pieces from Paper Pieces for a wall hanging of the tumbling blocks. I plan on working on it when we fly to New Zealand in a few weeks.
