I agree with this for the most part, with the exception of quilts for a specific reason such as a birthday or shower.

I was really frustrated with myself over this--so much I wanted to do yet I spent so much time on the computer that I felt like I didn't have the time to do what I wanted to do, which was sew. So, I started seriously limiting my time on the computer as it is easy to totally waste hours and hours on the computer. That's fine if that is what you want to do, but not fine if it leaves you feeling frustrated.

So, use your timer...and after 30 min. in the morning, get going and allow yourself 30 min in the evening (or whatever...you decide)...and get off the computer. You will get a lot of other things done. The computer can be just as bad as tv as being a time waster. Honestly. It can also be a wonderful tool, however, but you have to use your computer time wisely.

I try to limit my time here to when I have a drink or eat. No minutes are set.this way I was not side tracked from sewing but my to do list would get longer each day.
    Just enjoy it all.

I have the same problem. Spending too much time on here is a big stumbling block for me. I need to be more organized, next week, LOL
