Piecing While Traveling
#21
I found a box at Home Depot that has dividers in it. the squares fit 1 1/2 in squares perfectly. I keep my tools in it. I put a piece of velcro on the lid and a piece on the bottom of a small needle holder I use so I don't lose my needle or pin while traveling. I'll post a picture tomorrow. The cost was $9.00 for the box.

I have a lingerie bag/holder that has small see-thru compartments (needles, scissors, threads, thimbles, etc.,) and larger zippered compartments that I use for the patterns and the fabrics. It folds into thirds and ties with a ribbon or I can lay it flat in my carry-on. Hand sewing just relaxes me while watching TV in the room. BTW: it was "thrifted" and cost $1.50. It had never been used - must've been a gift.
