This is so horrible. My heart goes out to all those who have lost their loved ones. I would like to make some heart squares, as well.

Shirley may have under estimated the quilters response to the request ...

If you have just found out about the appeal - Shirley has enough blocks. No more are required.

If you are in the process of making them or about to send them - please complete and send them as soon as you can.

A heartfelt thank you from me to everyone who has personally responded to this need.

Please clarify if they are needed or not. I have been sewing blocks all day, but I can find another use for them...

Yes - please send them. Shirely would be most grateful.

To anyone who is in the process of making these blocks, please send them :)

To those who have just heard about this appeal. Please do not make any blocks.

    Thank you so much.

They are saying not to start any new ones, just send the ones you have started already. I think she got flooded with donations. Lots of people wanted to help.

    Thank you, tho.

I mailed mine today and couldn't afford more than just first class postage, so I'm hoping they get there before the whole project is over! ~~fingers crossed~~
