I have seen a few video's on making pillow case but does anyone have the size for king pillows. Also wanting to use them as gift bags.

I have just started to sew and have been making the potato bags and table runners seen here. have also enjoyed the message board very much thanks to everyone here and have a good holiday.

I googled and the average size for a King size pillowcase seems to be around 20 to 21" x 40 to 42".

I cut the main fabric (folded with fold at bottom) 36" long by 21 or 22" tall because we have really fat pillows. I cut the band 10" wide by width of the fabric. Hope this helps.
