I have directional fabric that I want to use in the cuff of a pillowcase.
(I'm using the burrito pillowcase method).
So should I lay it out with the direction going away from me or towards me (as I look down at it)? you know, should the houses be standing up or laying down? lol

Does it really matter? If you are making pairs, I think I would make "one of each" - so that when they are on the bed, both would appear to go the same way.

If you are making singles, the person can flip the pillow over to "make it look 'right'"

The above comments go with "B" in the attachment.

when you measure 27" for the body, you want the top of the houses to be at the top of fabric. (your measuring tape will be touching a rooftop)

Actually, it would matter to me, too.

Mommamac's post reminded me that "directional" can go four different ways.

I do mine with any directional going to the top of the pillowcase if possible.
