Has anyone participated in making pillowcase dresses for orphans in Africa?

Our church did 150 dresses and our local quilt guild did the dresses & britches. Everyone was buying pillowcases and there were some very cute dresses. We used white pillow cases at church and had the Bible school kids tie dye them. Oh so cute.

I don't know of anyone who is doing those around here. How
can I get started (besides making the dresses, of course.)
Do we just make them and send them or do we have to go through an organization?

I saw an ad on Sewing with Nancys website for the dresses for Africa. I think you can download a pattern also. There is also an address to send the finished dresses.
