That's the block that was decided on as the Board Block back when the membership cards were created so that's what I used. I was just trying to show that the PDF file does not have to be unlocked or anything like that. Didn't mean to start a fuss.

Where is the card?
if you download the card you'll see that it includes the name of our "little" virtual guild.
each person is free to decide for themselves what to do. :-)

Maybe it is time for a new guild card. I designed the original with help from members no longer with us. It was created with the spirit of this board in mind. Everyone's welcome, everyone praises one another and we do it with poise, friendship and humor.
The original was intended as a business card size you could easily stow in your wallet. Some quilt shops offer discounts for guild members: http://static.quiltingboard.com/uplo...1ae38_2274.pdf
The "guiltingboard" totally cracked me up. I'm putting that in my all-time favorite typos folder. So appropriate considering all the stuff we buy! I've been in advertising design over 25 years and have quite the collection of fun typos. That's why proofreaders make the big bucks. Gonna write a book one day.
As you can see from reading this post, there will be many opinions as to how the card/name tag/etc., should look and read. I hope you all come up with something that rocks! You can easily upload the final art to one of the printing sites and everyone can order t-shirts, hats, mugs, tennis shoes, etc. There's no charge for this as the printing companies make money by people ordering merchandise.

I see what you're saying, Chele, but I prefer not to call us a "guild". For many of us that word has a negative conotation.
