Pineapple Wall Hanging

Several months ago, I bought Gyleen X. Fitzgerald's book, Trash to Treasure Pineapple Quilts, and the accompanying pineapple ruler. It took me quite awhile before I attempted to make the blocks. Once I started, it was hard to stop. I was up way past my bedtime making this small wall hanging. I hand sewed the binding while sitting on the porch. It was sooooo relaxing! I call it "Peaceful Pineapples."
I've sewn garments for 40 years, but I'm a relatively new quilter, but I'm liking it more and more!

I recently took a class from someone who took the class from Gyleen. Loved the project and making the blocks was addictive. The ruler made it foolproof. I'm using my many Christmas scraps. I bought the book, too. Lots of pineapple ideas & even some pineapple recipes.
Unfortunately I have another project due in a couple of weeks so haven't been able to get back to my pineapple blocks. You did a nice job.
