Pink Caramel Windmill Pattern
Hi Everyone! This pattern is supposed to be free on their site but the title is crossed out and another link to a rabbit stitchery pattern is now the link.
Does anyone know if it was ever free and where I might get it?
Thanks,
Carol

Went to the site and off hand I'd say it's no longer available. Many blogs offer freebies for limited times. If you look at the first picture of the quilt, however, you can see how the blocks are constructed. Should be pretty easy to draft a pattern. You will have to use a partial seam, but other than that, pretty straight forward.

I did this block for coasters once. I used a square of say 5.5" for the background, and then I cut four squares (two in two colors) of say 3.5", folded them on the diagonal, and then pinned them with raw edges to the edge of the big square. I stitched around the edge of the big square, securing all the edges, and then turned inside out.
Obviously, this made them thick, but that was the point of a coaster. The background square peeked through.
I'm thinking this block is from the Farmer's Wife quilt block series…maybe if someone has it, she could look it up...

By searching Google Images for pink caramel windmill block pattern, I found a drawing of the block and a few instructions.
