I have needles all over the place in my room. My family knows better to be careful when coming in. A small room with lack of space combined with me being a bit disorganized attributes to this. If I move operation to my brother's room (he has more space and we'll usually hang out while I'm pinning something) I try to make sure I didn't miss any pins, but somehow no matter how hard I make sure not to leave any behind I end up missing one.

The other night I had the weirdest dream I was in this abandoned warehouse and there were pins all over the floor...and they were like the ones I get at Wal-Mart: the quilter's ones with the yellow pin heads.

The title of this thread reminds me of that song, "Pants on the Ground..."

Now that is a song that MUST have a story -- I've never heard it

Well, I admit, I am notorious for dropping pins and leaving them on the floor till I clean up after the project is finished. I never walk around barefoot, so I don't worry as much as I probably should. My grandson loves to use the extension magnet when he comes for a visit, so they get picked up every weekend regardless.

It has absolutely nothing to do with sewing. A guy wrote this song about boys who try to be cool by wearing their pants too low. He sang it on "American Idol" and got his 15 minutes of fame from it. Kind of catchy...
