If I pin I use the yellow head flower pins. Apparently the flowers don't pull off!!!! I hate it when you pull and head comes off. Also a friend wanted a needle gave her one after 10 minutes trying to thread it was a pin without a flower. Hehehe.

Do you wait for the glue to dry before sewing? Does the glue wash out ? Never used this technique but fed up of heads coming off pins or loosing them or bending them. I think I have some dislike for pins.

If I glued every intersection when piecing, I'd take 5 years to make some of the quilts. I'm doing a quilt now that has almost 6,000 1 inch squares. That's a lot of glue!

I just use the glass head quilters pins. I like the round head vs the flat flower because I find it easier to hold the round ball.

I do agree w/ many - you have to try and see what works for you.

I made a wool pincushion by buying a wool sweater at a thrift shop, washing and drying it till it felted then sut into strips and after layering several layers, rolled it into a "jelly roll". Stitch, or glue, the final edge.
