They say necessity is the mother of invention, well, I've just found another use for the Clover pronged pins.
Having just finished knitting a 12 ply Aran jumper for DS as an early Birthday present for January, I am about to sew the sleeve seams to the front and back so I can knit the neckband. Ordinary pins get lost in the wool, and are also hard to get out as you go. Hunted out my pronged pins, and they work like a dream. Hold the seams together much better than ordinary pins, and are easy to get out.
Anyone else found a non-quilting use for them?
