Pintangle
Any Crazy Quilter wannabes in here? Just in case you have never heard of this amazing resource... Pintangle week 1 has started. These weekly lessons are a great way to learn embroidery stiches and it is a free blog! https://pintangle.com/2022/01/04/tast-week-1-2/ The author, Sharon Boggon releases a new stitch on Tuesdays (Take A Stich Tuesday ie, TAST). I am not affiliated with her or the website but I love her explanation of the stiches and the gorgeous creations she posts.

I would have loved this a few back! But with my aging eyesight and my slight tremor from the chemo I had, that small fancy handiwork is best left to the more able! I did a lot of needlework, mainly counted cross stitch, but also crewel, tapestry, even an attempt at hardinger.

I love to Crazy Quilt and have made 2 so far. One hangs in my living room as I type. I took a couple lessons from a book I have on Crazy Quilt making and I was able to zip right though the process. I have a number of different embroidery stitches and embroider designs incorporated it to them as well as on was was able to place a 4" quilt block it looks great in the quilt.
I am not familiar with this method but will look into it. I have a crazy quilt on my list to do this year.

I posted once before on this thread but have now come up with one more project, that is to go thru my quilting books and patterns and get rid of ones I know I don't need anymore - many of which I didn't even make. It seems now you can go online and find almost any pattern you might want to try so that is another way I am going to de-clutter. Actually it is my New Year's resolution this year.
