I think compared to everyone else on this board..I am way behind. lol I will catch up now that I am done with my DIL log cabin quilt. I did complete 35 today, and got 41 more all sewed around the edges, and cut into 1/4's ready to be sewed into pinwheels. I also need 195 of these little buggers. lol Mine are made from charm sizes and will be completely scrappy.

I'm working, I'm working...and having lots of fun! I decided I had so many different sizes & color variations from scraps I'd made into the pinwheels, that I'd do several projects. What do you think? All are just finished tops. I'm also working on 2 quilts. Pics when tops are done.

I forgot to say that I use the 1/2 sq triangle method for all. Use the rosette method for the flatter center. Then, on the last one I decided to use the pressing the seams all open method, and I'll be darn if they didn't all turn out perfect center match & very flat block! Thanks for the hint! I will always do pinwheels this way now!!!
Beautiful table runners. Can't wait to see what it looks like when its finished.

 I love your block. I collect elephants (not the live ones), and if you don't mind I would love the pattern for your block. How do you have the time to do this with all your cleaning and sore arm (hope it is better). I would love to join in on this project. Are any of you doing the Star Block for the soliders? Thanks Brenda

The colors are beautiful. It gives me some great ideas for table runners. Thank you for sharing.

Yes, I did 2 star blocks yesterday, and may get some more cream fabric to make some more. This is another thing where they will wonder how the word got out so well. I think they will be making way more than 100 quilts.

I have all my blocks made and no Two are alike(I like scrappy quilts) and now just need to square them up and arrange them the way I want them. I haven't decided on what backing fabric I'll be using nor have a border fabric picked out yet either. I'll post some pics of all my pinwheels later tonight.
I really like everyone's pics of their pinwheels. We have some really eager beaver's that have them done already. Way to go!!

I've gotten about 60 done - but I split some off that are in the brown/blue/green range. They are all scrappy. I plan on donating these to a Shriner's Hospital (DH is a Shriner) and thought this would be a good one for a teenage boy. Still have the rest but here is the top
