They're amazing. You'll surely have to let us see the finished quilt.

Wow! I really like your three color combo. Is this the 3D pinwheel pattern? Looks wonderful!

I was going to post the picture of my Pinwheel blocks but
I have an antique printer so I can't plug in my camera. Will
have to see about getting a new one, I guess.

I read a few ladies are using starch for this pinwheel project i was wondering why and when do you apply the starch?

I use spray magic sizing from walmart.
I spray before I cut the basic block and after I cut the X to open the pieces. I spray heavy, let it soak in and then press to dry.
With the sew around method we are working with mostly bias edges that will stretch. The starch helps prevent stretching.

Looks like we have an over achiever here!
Those are lovely, both the colors and the workmanship.
    I have a hard enough time matching up 4 points, I don't need 8!
Good work! It's going to be lovely.
    :-D

If you have a scanner you could scan them here.
I don't know how but someone else will.
If not just tell us about them! :-D

I know I'm late (unfortunately it's getting to be all too common with me) but I'm going to join in here too. It's ok if it's not 'official' but a great project with a doable goal! Pinwheels here I come!

I too have started on my blocks. I have made 26 hour glasses using the X system. Right now 20 of them are in blocks just waiting to be blocked and sewn together. I will finish my starry nights miniture before starting the next one. This mini was fun. Will attempt to post a picture after I have finish it. K
