If I want a completed pinwheel block to measure 6 inches, what size do you start with for the piecing? I see how to end up with the one quarter of it finished, but would like to know what to start with to end up with the finished 6 inch block? I am a little slow this morning, thanks,

cut squares 3 7/8", draw line diagonally- stitch 1/4" on either side of line- cut on line- press open toward darker fabric. trim to 3 1/2"- stitch 4 blocks together to make 1 6 1/2" unfinished pinwheel block
