I love BOM's have been doing them for years. Never had any problems. I don't care if there are dozens of other people making it too. I like what I like. I always make sure they are using the fabrics that are in the Sample and not substitutes. I want to make what is in the original.

I love BOMs and have done them for many years. I signed up for Plain and Fancy, starting next month. Love the quilt. I never worry about others making the same quilt with same colors. Everyone always seem to add borders which makes them different. Even if they are the same, I will only have one at home. Do it, it's fun getting together with others and we always have a show and tell. Sometimes it gives you the push to make it when I probably wouldn't make it on my own. Love BOMs! Join it, you won't be sorry.

I don't "do" kits or the like, since they want you to buy THEIR FABRIC, etc., I want to pick my OWN fabric, otherwise everyone that makes the quilt is going to have the exact same thing, why not just go to the store and buy one already made? You can find those blocks online for free, so why pay through the nose for a BOM? My opinion.
