I have always used Hancock's 1.99 broadcloth. It works great and quilts perfect. I check their website and when they have a 40% coupon, I purchase a full bolt for less than 20 bucks. Can't beat the price.

I love Kauffmans Kona Cotton - I use White if I want it fairly bright or Snow if I want to more subtle depending on the fabric in the quilt.

Have you ever used the Bella solids. They are not exspensive and come in all colors. You might try crafttownfabrics.net

Hobby Lobby also carries Kona cotton. That works great in quilts!

I used them for the first time on a quilt last week. I got a great deal on some overstocked fabric and bought 10 yards - I used it for backing and binding and love it! It's got a really pretty texture to it - almost a sheen?

I love Kona cotton. Can get it on sale at Hobby Lobby or Hancock's quite often.
