    I have Janomes and they both came with plastic and metal feet. I agree with the other posters that you shouldn't use feet that aren't made for your machine.

    I can't think of any time I've needed to replace a foot because I broke it. I just bought some feet, but that was because they didn't come with my machine, not as a replacement. I can't think that this is one of those things that actually happens very often.
