I have about 4 yards of the teapot fabric if you'd be interested in it. Didn't know if it was too literal or not, lol.

I've no idea how 'cupcakes' suddenly became teacups, lol, but Susie Shore has a pot holder pattern - not free I'm afraid.

Thank you so much for you wonderful offer of fabric , but it would cost as much for postage to Australia as it would for the fabric , it is lovey fabric and would make a lovely morning tea project. Thank you.

You are looking for a potholder, cupcake shaped, rather than a mitt?

Hmm - this made me think about the meaning of the OP's meaning of 'potmit'. I took it to mean oven mitt. Pehaps it's a tea cosy? Susie Shore does one of them too!

I do like the look of this cupcake , funny what we call things in different countries' , I didn't think of that when I put up the original post here (Australia ) we call them potmitts , in The USA you call them pot-holder , I do like the idea off the Yo-Yo on the top for the cherry , this another idea I can work with .Thank you .

Don't overdo the tea cozies -- they do NOT sell well! Small wall hangings (one or two block quilts) are fun, and popular in some areas. If you do this every year, try for something different, as repeat customers will buy more if they do not already have it.
