    Yes.....I have had those very same Gremlins sneak into my quilting room. They certainly can wreak havoc on stuff, even things that you SWEAR no one has touched!! Sometimes just rethreading is all it needs.....inconceivable!!! (ala Princess Bride!!!)

    When you get really frustrated it's a good time to go do something else for a while. I have a Pfaff machiine which I dearly love but sometimes there is a knot or a lump in the thread and it will kick it out of the tension disks. If you take a hold of the thread above the machine and tug gently on the thread behind the needle it should put the thread back in the tension disks. If that doesn't work, it pays to rethread, or go have a cup of tea (or a glass of wine!).

    I have the new 830 Bernina , I absolutely love every feature of it , A friend of mine that does not sew came over to make a shopping bag for a girlfriend of hers, I told her what to do as she did it , WoW!!! I was impressed that she picked up all the features she needed to sew right off, what a machine, she made a beautiful bag,
