I also like the diamond layout, but the light triangles don't seem to go with the others that have more contrast. I would replace them with triangles that have more contrast like the other triangles. But, if you really like them and don't want to make more, I would go with the random. They don't stand out as much. Just my opinion.

To get truly random - which I like the best, BTW! - put all triangles in a big paper bag, toss them around REAL good, stir em up and start pulling them out one by one. THAT will be your layout..... of course, there are always a few that don't want to "play fair" and you'll have to put them where YOU want them.... lol !!! It is gonna be beautiful whatever you do!
LOL, I've done that before, and more than one color will end up with a twin no matter how random you'd like to be. I'd go for the paper bag and then make a few adjustments.

I NEVER like random best...but this time I do!
I agree with everyone else, though - whatever you choose will look lovely.

PS I'm guessing that by this time you have more time invested in rearranging the blocks in different layouts than in actual construction. *snort* That happens to me, too!
