Do those of you with dial up, tend to skip over topics without good descriptions? Would you be more apt to go to them if you knew what was there, due to the slowness of your connections?

yes, also I have found myself looking at something I had already looked at, because the title didn't say what it was really about. If it says quilt i made for my grandaughter, i might not remember it, but if it says 'butterfly quilt' then I would remember

Yes. Unfortunately it's not in our budget to upgrade to high speed. I'm sure I'm missing out on a lot of good stuff by having to be picky on what I spend time reading. Someday we'll get a faster connection.

I had dial up for a long time too! I remember how slow pages loaded and I had to be picky about what I did when I was low on time... or not wanting to tie up the phone line for very long at a time.

I have not always spelled it out in the topic line either...and then when I have tried to search/help search for something here it was a nightmare as the board grew LMBO So I can fully understand Admin putting this into the guidelines... :D:D:D

You can download ieSpell Check from this site.
    http://www.iespell.com/download.php

It is so easy to use. Type you message, and then right click on your typing and chose check spelling in the drop-down window, or a couple more options.
