Glad you brought this up Amma, I sometimes forget to put all of the pertinent information in the title also. This was a good friendly and informative reminder!!

As far as bumps and other netiquette when you bump a topic it usually looks like this:

Bump for the morning crew......... or

bbt....................Which is "back to the top"

The post that I hate and you never see them here because we are a more courteous is the classic:

    Yeah what he/she said..............

That one is to just run up the post count for the crack head that is posting it, and when you are looking for information or reading a topic you really do not want to look at 4 pages of "yeah what he said".

It just makes you want to punch someone in the mouth!!

Thank you! Descriptive titles are so much better, not just for searching, but for deciding which threads to open. None of us has time to look at every single thread, so we pick the ones that seem interesting or like something we might be able to answer. I know I have missed some valuable discussions because the title was something like "question" or "what do you think?" or "sewing machine problem" without any more information.

Thank you so much for that Link Loretta and also thank you Amma for the heads up about Google spellcheck as I do have that, just didn't realize I had it so I will use it now.
I agree it is important for us to use the right descriptive heading so it makes it easier for everyone to find what they are searching for. Thank you Amma for bringing this to our attention.
