Love the fabric. Please post a picture of the quilt when you get it finished.

According to Mr. Google, it was published August 11, 1936 in numerous newspapers, including the Miami (Oklahoma) Daily News.

I'd love to have a copy of the pattern. I looked online and did not find it without subscribing to historical newspapers.

I have a quilt kit that I bought at an estate sale for a Dresden Plate. The pieces are all cut out. All I would need is the center. That looks a lot easier to make than the Dresden plate.

    Can I PM you?

I agree with the 50's because of the brown fabrics. Definitely not earlier than the 40's because that's when the red-yellow-blue prints first came out.

I would say the pattern is very old but the fabric looks from the 40's.

Alice Brooks (and Laura Wheeler) quilting patterns were published in newspapers in the 1930s.
