Default Pocket Prayer Quilt - show me yours.

One of the members mentioned that she makes "pocket prayer quilts" and I had never heard of them. I assume they are little, tiny quilts with Bible verses embroidered on them. If I'm right, I'd love to make some for the ladies in my church. Let me see pictures of your pocket prayer quilts.
    Thanks in advance.

I went to a church function and there was a basket of these in the vestibule for anyone to one.

The ones I have seen are very similar to a bed runner with a pocket in the ends. I'm sure if you look at epatterns or amazon books I have seen patterns and book. The idea is they fit over shoulders.. Somebody on this site has also made a jelly roll one with a slit to go over shoulders not sure if it was called a prayer shawl , I think it was to keep the elderly warm in a home. Sorry cant help any more.

The prayer shawl is a different thing, I think. The pocket prayer quilts are, as you said, small with bible verses on them. http://www.google.com/search?q=pocke...w=1045&bih=615

This wouldn't fit into a pocket, it is a prayer square, but squares could be cut smaller to make something that would fit into a pocket, or a purse.

    I like the idea.
