    Default Pockets

I have Android Tablets. For some reason, the patterns I have found for sleeves and bags simply do not take into account wall chargers, car chargers, and other accessories. Where can I find information on making pockets to add to a quilted bag that WILL hold all this stuff? I can make flat type pockets, but how about pockets like cargo pants use, etc? What would you interface/line with so pocket wouldn't be too bulky and look good on a quilted bag?

You just have to add tucks to bottoms or sides or gathers depending on thickness of fabric. Maybe could line with flannel.

You could also use a heavy fusible interfacing to line pockets. It would stiffen them a little to make them sturdier for holding the accessories without being too bulky or heavy.

I need instructions on how to add tucks. Tucks to me usually mean pintucks a la heirloom. I have a good idea, but measurements are shaky. How much can you safely add before pocket overwhelms bag? I could actually use patterns and instructions. Flannel sounds good. Thanks

PM me your address and the width, length and depth measurements of your tablets.
Also the pile measurements of your accessories as I stated in the PM I sent you.
Also do you want it to zipper close or have a flap with velcro?
And do you want a strap on it?
I will make a pattern and send it to you.
Then I can alter the pattern to make my niece a bag for her nook or kindle (can't remember which she has)
You could also line with fleece. It would be really soft and a little thick to protect the tablet.

I think I'd add a pocket at the side that a container of some sort would fit into so that the accesories have some protection. Maybe a tennis ball tube with the snap on lid. I would worry that any pocket added to the front or back when filled with the odd shaped accesories might damage the tablet?
