I have yo-yo things in a medium size makeup bag with a zipper.
Plastic form, sizzors, thread, needles, 5" charms and a small sandwich baggie for scraps and finished yo=yos.
Works VERY WELL for me!

Clover yo yo makers are nice. You don't have to cut circles and they are easy to put down in a hurry and pick back up. I keep bag with a charm pack, yo yo maker, needle, thread and school scissors in the car all the time. It's amazing how many yo yos I can make sitting and waiting.

I'm handpiecing an antique replica and have 6 or 7 blocks in pieces, pinned together with thread, needle etc. in a plastic envelope.
I also have an English PP project to take along in a separate envelope, with paper pieces pinned to cut fabric pieces with needles, snippers etc.
