    Default Pouchy Stars

I decided to try my hand at EPP stars. The problem came when I added the next row of diamonds around the star---now the middle of the star pooches out and won't lie flat! What did I do wrong, you EPPers? Help me! I really want to learn to do this correctly.

Yes - please post a photo so that we can see what is happening. I'm having trouble picturing how your centers can pooch if they're paper pieced.
