Pproductive March
I finally got the incentive to finish 2 quilts and 2 wall hangings this month. Both quilts were kind of scrappy, but I tried a new technique on the wall hanging. Raw edge applique that you wash to fray, then you finish quilting it. I will post pics when my camera will behave. It won't interface with my computer anymore. I think it is time for a new computer since the camera is less than a year old and not cheap.

Accidentally I appliquéd a CKC spaniel onto a background that was too light in color and too thin, using a satin stitch. Didn't want to take out all of the stitching, so carefully cut around the stitching and re-attached to a proper dark color background. The accidental aspect was that it appeared to be the dog's fur and the recipient loved it so he took it to the CKC club to show it.

I hope your April is as productive as your March is....though, you know, I am not sure why I said that? Let me just congratulate you on a great month and I hope to see pictures soon! It is just great to be quilting, huh...
