I love the Prairie points....so what if they get all crumpled up after 100 washings and the baby sucks on them and pulls them......that is a well loved quilt, and will have stories to tell.....

The prairie points definitely give the quilt additional pizzazz, but when wrapping the quilt around the baby I'd be worried about the points near the eyes.

The prairie points would make the edge more difficult for the baby to hold on to as they get a little older and pick it up themselves.
The prairie points are cute but remember it will be washed many, many times.

I love the prairie points. The grandbabies in my family have all searched out the tags on their blankets to play with or chew on or whatever. I don't think prairie points would be a dangerous thing at all.

Prarie points look nice. If I could make a suggestion don't put them across the top part of the quilt. I did petals on my granddaughters and she didn't loke them up by her face.
