Prairie points

Yes, they are all hand cross-stitched.
And, my mom's great at the hand-stitching!
My grams (dad's mom) taught me to sew and quilt... after she died, I asked my mom to start sewing with me and she is!
I'm really fortunate.

Hi,
I have used prairie points on table runners and also on a baby quilt.
If you make them big enough (but not real big) prairie points can be grabbed by the baby to hold....like the edge of a silky blankie for thumb suckers. Put them randomly placed in the quilt for the baby to play with during tummy time, too. Babies love to finger things and it's good for their small motor coordination.
Have fun! Post a picture when you get it done.

If they are brightly colored a baby will really love them.
