Thanks to all! I had no idea the FLW quilts would be so difficult. I had seen a pattern or maybe a quilt several years ago but couldn't find it now that I needed it. Peckish, was considering the "French Braid" and one from McCall's (Mar/Apr 2013) called "Garden party". My SIL would not love the quilts I favor (30's)..simply not her style. I am off to get that book and get started. You saved my DAY. I have been all over the place on my computer and didn't ever find the FLW book but I was just searching "prairie style" or "mission style" quilts. Thank you again. sharon

Jackie Robinson ( who may have been referenced above) has published several FLW-type patterns.

I've always loved the Frank Lloyd Wright Architecture too, I hope you find just what you'd like for your quilt project, and share it here with all of us!

There is a Turning Twenty book #8 that has gorgeous stained glass quilts in it. Frank Lloyd Wright was the first thing I thought of when I saw them. You might consider one of those. They're extremely easy to make!

Jackie Robinson of Animas Quilts has designed several patterns after Frank Lloyd Wright designs.

I remember her showing some of these on "Simply Quilts" many years ago.

search for message by Leslie333 on 12-7-14 called Quilt for my Hubby. That pattern reminds me of mission which is very similar to prairie style. Look much easier than a FLW. I bought the pattern after seeing what Leslie333 had done.

This is a beautiful quilt and a great way to use french braid runners!

Jane Hardy Miller has written several books about French braid quilts, you might check your library.
