Batiks, Batiks, Batiks. I just love them. Beyond that neutral and TOT is always good because I never seem to have enough of them. It' easy to buy the beautiful focal fabrics. Then when it's time to choose fabrics for a project, I end up back at the LQS to fill in the neutrals and other prints needed to make the quilt. Joyce in Delaware

Polka Dots! I love polka dots. (Big prints, Little prints, tone on tone, polka dots and white or vice versa.) They also make great blenders.
And, light prints. MY stash is woeful on prints that read LIGHT. I have tons of medium prints.
And lastly, White on white. I use it in everything. I try to buy yardage whenever I can.

I always make the same mistake -- stock up on beautiful focal fabrics. Then when it't time to use one, I haven't got the coordinates. You'd think I'd learn from my mistakes. I do need more neutrals and blenders.
