    Hi Judie, Yes, it does. I do the same thing. Makes everything a whole lot easier in the end.

    If all your other fabrics for the quilt are pre-washed, you probably should pre-wash it , or it will shrink at a different rate than the others and will stand out, or pull unnecessarily on the seams. But, use the gentle cycle.
